Senate Comes To Compromise On Fuel Economy

The fuel economy has been on everybody’s mind for sometime and they are wondering what the Government is going to do about it. On Thursday the Senate voted for a compromise. They stated that required average fuel economy for cars, trucks, and SUV’s will have to be 35 miles to the gallon for brand new cars by the year 2020.

U.S. Mail Charges Raised

It seems that the raise of cost in gas is not the only thing that we can expect to see this year. It seems that the cost to mail something off is constantly being increased and it has been raised once more.

Govt. Seeing Less Of Un-Employment Claims

It seems that after reaching a high point, application for unempoyment benefits is finally slowing down. This is good news and means that the labor market is getting better then it has been for awhile. last week there were around 339,000 Americans who were filing claims for jobless benefits. This was acctually a drop of 4,000 from the week before.
